represent the seller on a commission basis, usually from 5% to 10% of
the selling price, and a retainer fee in the range of $5,000.00 to $15,000.000.

candidates for the business.
Mergers & Acquisitions.
Merging with, or acquiring a synergistic business is another way to achieve
growth. We select companies which will bring added value to your existing
business. Specializing in Manufacturing, Service and Distribution sectors
of the industries, we will conduct, in absolute confidence, searches for
local, national and foreign businesses best suited to our client's objectives.
Buyer Representation.
Meridian Corporation represents the seller in the majority of business
transactions however; we can also offer representation to buyers on an
exclusive and confidential basis. As with sellers, we will work with the
buyer on a commission basis, usually in the 5% to 10 % range of the purchase
price and a retainer fee in the range of $5,000.00 to $15,000.000. Using
the latest data base, we will conduct a search targeting companies that
fit your buying criteria and make confidential inquiries into these businesses
on the buyer’s behalf. We will negotiate on the buyer’s behalf,
prepare a Letter of Intent, and obtain necessary documentation for due
diligence and the Agreement Letter of Intent, and obtain necessary documentstion
for due diligence and the Agreement of Purchase and Sale. Our Buyer Agency
Agreement will spell out the details of the search criteria and the terms
and conditions of our agreement
Business Valuations.
We offer Business Valuations at three different levels to suit the client’s
needs and objectives. A consulting fee of $2,500.00 to $5,000.00 will
include a specific level of Business Valuation, opportunity assessment
advice and marketing material.
